Aldbane moves into the hallway proper and attacks the creature from its left flank.

Vesh try to throw another dagger if there is an opening but if things continue and take substantial losses Vesh will cast sleep upon the beast in hopes that it'll give the rest a chance to attack it without a chance to defend itself or run and hide until it passes depending on the group's choice.

Grampus puts away his short bow grabs his magic sword and yells, "Carnage to the the stinking bug beast!" and rushes toward where it's head attaches the body and tries to slice it with an arcing swing.

Rhod keeps fighting.

Maloof arms himself with mace & shield and circles around to the side or back of the creature and (if he can find room in the melee) attacks.

Right now, with everybody flanking, etc, it leaves Rhod alone to receive seven (7) attacks

Something to think about before I proceed

OK, that's a good point - thanks for seeing that

Since Maloof is near Rhod, if there is a clear space to enter the melee at the front he will do so.

Same, if there is room at the front Aldbane will join in there to share the load :).
