Vesh fishes out another two SP in case that helps. [OCC: Vesh will only put in a total of three more to test the theory, figuring he can get them back if forced to fight.] "Anyone else going to give it a try? Maybe it is one SP per Skeleton."

Two more silver pieces go in, no effect

Maloof impatiently tosses 3 silvers to Vesh; he watches the skeletons warily, his fingers itch to crush some skulls.

Vesh catches Maloofs 3 silver pieces and gently places them into the glass bowl & waits to see if anything happens.

"Hmmm 6 Skeletons & 6 Silver pieces, I hope this works, if not we better leave before the Skeletons are able to attack again unless we want to destroy them if they do attack.

The creative-thinking Vesh is disappointed as the coins have no effect

"Well clearly that didn't work. While I am here, I'll checkout the bowl & its chain more closely. Let me know if we are leaving or a threat appears while I am studying the bowl and chain."

Vesh studies the bowl & chain closely for any potential runes etched into their surface, but will pull back to the others if 1) the skeletons begin to move forward again or 2) something looks off (the silver or bowl begins to glow). Vesh tries to see if the chain is firmly attached to the ceiling or if it seems to be part of a mechanism. Is the chain connected to the bowl by a single chain or multiple smaller chains connected to a larger central one?

While Vesh is doing that, Rhod looks intently at the skeletons. Is there anything special about them that he can see? Or do they look like regular skeletons?
