Grampus' magic sword finally flares to life, and severs the ant in half. It dies.

Rhod surveys the scene, looking for more ants and wiping ant bits off his sword.
"I don't mind killing the ant," he says, gesturing at the skeletons, "but if that's what was served, I'm bloody glad I missed the picnic!"

There only seems to have been one ant. Looking at the skeletons, you get the impression that maybe they were tossed in for the ant to feed on, but by whom?

Maloof clucks his tongue at Wiglaff's wound. "Apologies my friends, that beast gave me quite a scare! Let us hope it was just one ant, and not a colony!" he exclaims.
"We might as well attempt the last remaining door off this corridor", he replies to Wiglaff.
