Wiglaff joins the fight against the ant as soon as possible, but not before looking around for more of them.
Is the ant in the room, or in the corridor outside?

Looks like it will be Grampus and Maloof in front line, unless Maloof bails out

Aldbane will take a whack at the ant if he is in a position to get in near Maloof.

With an unseemly shriek, Maloof stumbles back into the hallway as fast as he is able!!

Maloof removes himself quickly, and Rhod and Grampus run into the room to double-team the critter. Wiglaff and Aldbane get ready to attack it from behind the next round if they have a chance
The ant is deadly quick, and his mandibles scrape the dwarf's arm just under the shield. The two fighters attack back, but have trouble making a good blow against the ant's hard carapace.
Grampus and Rhod are now in the middle of the room, facing the door, the ant in front of them. Aldbane and Wiglaff could jump it from behind if they wish

Wiglaff follows Aldbane into the fray, swinging his battle-axe at the joint between the ant's head & thorax!

The party has adjusted to the speed of the giant insect, and now vent their wrath on their foe. Both Rhod and Wiglaff land mighty blows, and the ant is now almost torn in two. Grampus is probably feeling a bit mad at his enchanted sword.
Maddened with rage, the ant turns on the creature that hit it from behind, and gives Wiglaff a mighty chomp. You feel one more blow might finish it.
Anybody backing out of combat?
