Maloof watches his feet curiously, speculating internally about the cold breeze and he proceeds along the corridor with the others.

The 20-foot corridor opens into a 30x40 room with no appreciable exits (see updated map in Player's Maps thread)

The room is quite chilly. A cold breeze mysteriously circulates around the bottom of the room.

Wiglaff doesn't enter the room, but stands at the end of the corridor (getting out of the way of anybody who wants to enter). From this position, he examines the floor, walls, and ceiling for any markings or other abnormalities.

Grampus stands at the threshold and looks for any vents or ductwork that would explain the air circulation. He takes a mouthful of water from his flask and spits it as far as he can into the room. If it freezes before it hits the floor then he knows the air is dangerously cold.

He sees no vents or ductwork. The water spray from his mouth acts normally, and does not start to freeze upon contact with the ground

Rhod will stay in the doorway while the others search the room. This is weird, even by his standards, and he wants to provide overwatch for his comrades.

"There's nothing here to kill, and I don't see any treasure," says Grampus. "I'd rather continue on with you, Wiglaff, than get left behind here. Dwarves have an old saying: Never split up the party."
