Put out the fire.
Topple the pot so it is easier to get to our stuff.
Is something other than the pot itslf causing it to be magnetic?
Try and get our stuff out of the pot.

Rhod cooperates fully with this plan. Getting our stuff back is our first priority.

OK, this will take a full turn but is easily doable. I suggest you grab Archie's fallen torch and light it before you put out the fire. The pot is just a big iron magnet. You can eventually get all your gear back. The room is a 40 foot circle with doors in two walls, 90 degrees apart. You have no idea what direction is north. There is a pile of ogre bedding in one corner.

Once i get all the stuff out i put my armour back on and re-equip. Then search the room and bedding

The two of you re-equip, and find a bag of 200 gold pieces by the ogre's bedding. Then a rope catches your eye - enough that you can climb up it back to the first floor
