So far only Golguldir has elected to search, so I will wait for input from Grampus and Serech

"Ugh, these filthy beasts...."

Serech will sort through the treasure using an unused torch to move things around.

Golguldir easily finds the three sacks that contained each ogre's personal gold. He dumps them out and counts them in piles of 10 and finds 1252 gold pieces in total.

Meanwhile, Serech stirs around in the messy pile of copper pieces. If he compares the pile size to the gold coins found by Golguldir, he estimates at least 10000 coper pieces here. Spreading it out, he finds buried in the coins a costly-looking necklace made of gold, with three green gems set in the front.

Golguldir finishes up his search of the room with uncovering a cookbook on how to eat various sentient beings, called HOW TO COOK HUMANS

"I say we take this back to town as quickly as we can," Rhod says. "It wouldn't do to find a haul like this and then die without a chance to spend it."

"Agreed," Aldbane says. He'll help carry a share of the loot pile back to town if needed.

Grampus also thinks of grabbing the loot and heading out of the dungeon.

Any dissenters?

Serech is agreeable to leaving with the treasure.

Golguldir is all for returning to the surface as quickly as possible, and has hopes the necklace will be worth a considerable sum...

The party manages to get their haul back to the surface without running into any more trouble!

You are delighted to find the necklace appraised for a value of 3000 gold coins

"Tch! Tche! Seest thou, doughty companions, the way in which this ogre's spleen is oriented to the entrance of this maze? 'Tis a clear sign we should repair to our quarters and take stock!"

Suddenly realising the sound of looting has ceased, Catweazle turns about as the last of the party disappears from chamber lugging their new-found wealth.

"Ack! Eck! Stay thine fleet footsteps, varlets!"
