Re: Delve the Second

Golguldir snaps off an enchantment, and dazzling lights illuminate the room. The party is safe, as they have their backs to the effect, but the two goblins that had killed Sigurd drop down unconscious, as does the goblin attacking Grampus. Rhod is disadvantaged by his foe's faster weapon, but Grampus attacks him first, killing him, while Aldbane goes to help Serech and cuts down the extra goblin. Serech misses his attack, but Rhod, uncumbered by a goblin in his face, uses his reach to slice his head off before Serech can be attacked. Seven goblins lie on the floor!

Re: Delve the Second

"Fine work, Golguldir," Aldbane says, wiping his hammer clean.

He'll search the Goblins for loot.

"Shall we keep one alive for questioning?"

Re: Delve the Second

"Mayhap one could be of use as a hostage were more of his gob-kin to appear? Tsk. Tsk." mutters Catweazle while fumbling his dagger back into its sheath.

"Alas! Poor Sigurd!, dead a debtor, not yet having worked off your pay! May your mercenary gods overlook this slight monetary irregularity ... perhaps I'd best take care of your belongings against the day we might meet flesh of your blood."

He goes through Sigurd's belongings.

Serech peers at the goblins on the ground.

"Are they dead? Should we make them so?"

"Merely unconscious," replies Golguldir, satisfied with the effect none-the-less.

Re: Delve the Second

Catweazle casts a critical eye over the two remaining unconscious goblins and sinks a dagger into the hollow of the throat of the tougher-looking one.

"Now then. Tsk. Tche. If you brawny warriors would care to disarm and tie yon spindly goblin, I may question him as to his party's origins and their knowledge of these passages."
