Golguldir can scare believe that the zealot-infernal carries naught but a mace and coat of rings! He looks for any rings, necklaces, or amulats he might wear, and any tokens of his devotion. Does he carry a belt purse, at least? Has he any pockets? Might his boots be high enough to conceal a bejewelled dagger?

Blas was a pauper(some other denizen would beat him up periodically and take his stuff)

"Haul them out? Yes, they deserve a burial and the proper rites. As for this one," Serech hisses with venom at Blas' body, "Burn him. Let him stand before his Master with no flesh, naked and ashamed! His failure placed for all to see. His hour of Judgement is at hand!"

After a second, his head drops. "I have no oil..."

Yes let us take our comrades back up for proper burial. Let us also strip this bastard and take his head to the surface. If he should haunt us as an undead i rather he not have weapons, armour and a head.

Rhod starts searching his deceased comrades to see if any of them had any oil.

Hetwhistle had 3 flasks of oil
