| I think he means the party as a whole should progress down the southern corridor, and at the door in the east wall about halfway down, that Het listened at and heard nothing, you should stop the party, open the door and investigate what lies behind it |

Why don't most of us remain in ambush position, while Het knocks loudly on the door, then runs back to us if an Ogre happens to open it?
