"If we have oil to slow them up and injure them," Rhod muses, "and then set those of us with bows up near the door, in a tight formation, to pepper them as they approach, we could just do this.

"Mine's a short bow, so I can fire kneeling, with another archer behind me."

"So we only know that beyond the southern door, there are wandering packs of goblins and some ogres? The east room here has some invisible creatures that attack, and the west room is empty. Oh, if only we had a bag of fine flour! We should check the west room anyway, if just to make sure there are no hidden doors or such."
Makofan, did we get dimensions of the room the cleric was hiding in? Also, how do I get oc to show on the left side of the post box?

@riftstone The "ooc" tag puts it on the left, the "oc" tag on the right

You did not get dimensions of his room

"Hmm, back we must go! I did not get the layout of the room Blas was hiding in. We are getting ahead of ourselves - an accurate map may save our lives."

"If I remember correctly, about the same as my room. 30 feet by 40 feet, or thereabouts"

Het says, Let's take a quick look at the west room to assure ourselves nothing's moved in there since Blas last took a peek.

Het listens at the door, but hears nothing suspicious. He steps aside to let Lawrence open it. Lawrence finds it stubborn, and has to throw his weight against it half a dozen times before it opens into a room 40 feet long, and 30 feet wide. The door is in the centre of the room's east wall. The walls of this room are covered with ancient tapestries, ragged and moldy. The floor is made of hard, red wood, which looks in perfectly pristine condition.

Het will carefully examine the floor, looking for cracks or uneven surfaces that would suggest a pit trap or hidden door.

If he doesn't find any, he will tear down the tapestries to see what's behind them.
