One sojourn uses up at least a day, so it will be next day. The dungeon is opened once per day at about 9 am.

If that's the case, Het would prefer to stay down there a little longer and see if we can find Alistair's lair and any extra loot he may have acquired before we bail.

If the rest of the party disagrees, I won't argue, but that's my feeling.

Re: Player's Thread

The only downside to this is that one player has to sit around and wait for his new PC to join. Can we have that guy (Coffee?) just send down his new PC, since we're right at the entrance?

Well, coffee and I have had a plan for his new character for the last week or so. He should appear soon, once I have everybody's OK (especially Golguldir's) to retcon the damage and sleep the goblins without casualties

Yes, DD differs from the original in its consistent approach to the dice: the players will always benefit by rolling high. Likewise, the NPCs (or "the dungeon") will always benefit by rolling high. For surprise: the players will surprise the monsters if they roll a 5-6 (or 3-6 for thieves!), and the monsters will surprise the players if they roll a 5-6 (or 3-6 for some especially sneaky sorts).

I'm okay with Golguldir sleeping the goblins; it's too complicated otherwise.
[f=32]Golgildir the Elf Medium (MV 12", AC 9, HD 1, hp 1/1, AL N) great cloak, lantern; spells: color spray; scrolls: sleep, sleep, charm person
Hirelings: Georges; torch[/f]

Just a reminder, is anybody going to make a map? It will be pretty hard to navigate once you explore past the first few rooms
