But it could be rougher. In the original '74 rules, when surprised you had a 25% chance of dropping something you were holding. In DD it's a 1 in 3 chance, but only if you are hit by a surprise attack.

Another one is that one in six hits are said to be head hits... with all those 6s you're rolling you might get a few of those too :shock:

Looks like there are five known entraces to the first chamber:

1. The stair from the departure lounge,
2. The south door (by which the goblins attacked,
3. A passage leading east,
4. The east door,
5. The north door.

Oldtin has volunteered to watch the south door--is it still open after the goblins entrance? We should also watch the east passage, the east door, and the north door...

Mak, how much time will elapse if we leave the dungeon, swap out injured PCs for fresh ones, and then go back in?
