Quick Q.

Is the Thief considered core? As he's listed in the book, but he's listed as Optional. Cheers.

Hmmm, maybe i should pick up 2 hirelings? They can be his cooking assistants (maybe Potts is one of the mercenary groups cooks in his normal day to day life?).

What do the rest of the group think? One can be cook's assistant turned Torchbearer and the other a cooks assistant turned Porter? I have 4gp to spare and it means i don't have to carry my noisy pots and pans myself! ;)

Nice work Discuit; a few things to note:
discuit wrote:Wisdom 12 (+1 to Dex for XP calculations)

Technically, your 12 wisdom adds 1 to your Prime Requisite (think of your prime requisite as your 7th "ability"), while your dexterity score remains unchanged. But in reality this makes no practical difference.

Also, like bonuses generally don't stack; only the highest one applies. So you'll typically be +3 to hit with hurled missiles (including sling stones), and +1 to hit with any other missiles.

Yes.
discuit wrote:Pots & Pans for Cooking! (2 gp?, 10 lb?)
2 gp will buy one compact solider's cook-pot with a lid which doubles as a frying pan. Weighs 2 lb.
discuit wrote:Bag of Stones (Free? 1lb?)
Yes, they're free. You can pick them up anywhere. A dozen good stones will weigh 1 lb.
discuit wrote:Movement: 12" (unencumbered)
Alas, Halflings have a base movement of 9" unencumbered.

I'll roll everyone's hit points just before we're ready to go.

As a neutral thief, you'd always be on the lookout for yourself. You'd want to lend money at a "decent" interest rate, say 20% per month, or something similar to make it worth your while ;)

Rope is something a thief can always use too!

You can go ahead a post your character in the PCs section here.

Yes, the only one I could afford is a sling, and I hate slings

1 Pot! Sacrilege! He'd have at least 2 or 3! He's a Gourmand! ;) Well there goes some more gold! ;)

Cool, i'll make those amendments and then post it in the official forum and format!

Well, you could have three hand-axes for the price of one short sword but, generally, one shot is all you get ;)
