"This graffiti means nothing to me," acknowledges Urist. "Let's kick some orcish behind! I will take the lead as always."

"Perhaps we should figure out how we will arrange ourselves as we explore. What weapon do you favor Faeraidel? If you prefer bow perhaps you can be behind Urist in the order so that you may shoot over his head."
Faeraidel gives a curt nod of the head.

"Lead on, Master Urist. My arrows shall be at your back. There are Orcs to kill."

Alrik follows, preferably in the middle of the marching order.

Rhegaer will guard the rear, if nobody else wants the job.

Phadian

"Rhegaer, I can take the back of the group. I usually join the fighting late to see where my help is needed. Also you have better armor so should be up front."

Rhegaer nods and heads to the front of the line behind the dwarf, spear at the ready.

Down, down, down the party descends the stone stairs. They find themselves in a wide storeroom 40x80 its contents long since pillaged and broken into scattered debris.

By the dim light you see 2 dark openings each heading north, one on the east side and one on the west side of the room. Pausing to take it in there are clearly noises coming from the western exit.

Urist, at the front of the marching order, gestures to his friends to halt and be quiet. He listens as best he can to the noises from the western direction. Could it be orcs?

After only a minute or so Urist is sure he hears the rough voices of Orcs in the distance.
