08 - Tor-Xonor: Sailing the Dark Waters

After final checks are made the party carries the raft to the Cave of Lights, you all stand before the entrance ready to haul your craft down to the strange underground lake.....

ooc - See Treasure thread for Treasure list from "07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor: The Lower Caves". Only loot (as no one wanted the club), so can just let it roll through section 08.

So the party caries the "raft" down the long grade to the underground waters. (Seriously no one will name the raft at launch!)

Reminder of the scene. http://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=348&start=250

The raft slides into the water which is is plenty deep even a few feet out. Checking the depth you find that after 10 feet it is at least 5ft deep and at 20 feet it is more then 10 feet deep. The raft is big enough for the 5 of you plus the dogs but Shoul, Rik and Mule will have to stay behind. What sort of plan do you foresee?

Is it time to shove off?

The lights again start up at some point mostly towards right side (East) of the cave system...

Alrik has Rik give him the extra torches, tinderbox and a replecement for the oil he used against the shadow creatures before getting underway.

"Let's call our raft the 'Water Ladder' since the logs are parallel, like a ladder," suggests the literal-minded Urist. If there are no objections from the party, he will grab hold of a pole and begin pushing the raft toward the mysterious lights...
