Re: 08 - Tor-Xonor: Sailing the Dark Waters

Alrik stands quietly, observing for a minute. "I am Alrik, slayer of Illmir. Forgive our interest in your appearance, you bear a remarkable resemblance to someone we once knew. We came to Tor-Xonor in serarch of riches and adventure, and seem to have found at least the latter amongst the evil rooted here. Come, join us for a bite and tell us of whence you came."

"I am Urist Stonechapel," speaks the Dwarf, "and that wrinkle-faced mutt is named Squishy."

Phadian

"I am Phadian, healer and member of this party. Yes, please join us for some food, such as we have, and we share stories of our travels. Perhaps it is fate that has caused our paths to cross."

The blue of the girl's eyes intensifies.

"Someone you once knew? What mean you? Please tell me more."

"Her name was Hagwen, she was not as, shall we say, charismatic as yourself, but you are clearly a fine warrior and so was she. She was felled by an Ogre in the caves beneath Tor Xenor," Alrik says.

"Welcome. Name's Rhegaer." he manages to say between bites of food.

"Hagwen? I do not know the name."

Faeraidel seems to relax somewhat, joining the company and sitting down with them, still fussing Squishy, feeding a little of the proffered food to him. She gives a friendly smile to Aurora and beckons the hound across to share in the meal.

Re: 08 - Tor-Xonor: Sailing the Dark Waters

It seems the greetings have occurred and the talk has died down into a silence....

What now, Is the question.

Some obvious choices.
Go back into the Cave of Lights?
Take the Elf to Hagwen's Grave?
Retreat to Camp and call it a day?
Make your way up the hill to the Ruins proper?

Phadian

Phadian relays a bit of why we are here. "Up north a wizard named Illmir was troubling our town. We took care of him but came to find that his leader was from these parts, folks from our town put a reward on his head so we headed south and here we are. Hagwen was one of our party who seemed to have other reasons to go to Tor-Xonor. She was a smart able fighter, and met a bad end at the hands of an ogre. Fairaidel, what brings you to these parts?"

Faeraidel

Faeraidel frowns, considering Phadian's words.

"This 'Hagwen' led you hither? Did she give you any reason as to why?"

"As for myself," she continues; "I search for someone lost who is dear to me. I found that she sought, but fortune turned against me and now it seems I have lost both. I would welcome aid in recovering them if you are willing. In return, I will aid you run down the foe you seek. What say you?"
