Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

So the party packs up and heads back up the slope towards the goblin caves. Upon arrival they notice, immediately, that the silver coins are gone and the herbs have been trampled by the passing of many feet.

You stand upon the threshold.... Enter do you want to put the marching order in the standard procedure thread?

"Curious, they seem to have brought in reinforcements...be careful, and mind that tripwire! Rik, light up that torch, if you please?"

Alrik will enter with the others when ready.

OOC: I put up a marching order/night watch in the standard actions thread, Dwarf in front so we can fire over his head, and FM in back for rear flank protection. Let me know if it needs changing.

Rhegaer hesitates when he notices the protective silver line is gone, but steps into the cave.

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

The party enters, torches are lit, weapons are ready.....

You come to the first intersection, carefully you try to find the tripwire, however you find it in shambles, the wire was tripped and the trap was sprung.

mgt's roll comes to 4 [4 on 1d6]

No sign of any dead. Your choice is left or right. The last you went left.

"Ah, it feels good to be underground again!" enthuses Urist. "Squishy, which way did they go?" The pudgy puppy would have sniffed at the trampled herbs to get the scent of the footprints, and now is keeping his nose to the ground as the party approaches the T intersection.

"I think we should continue with our left traverse, we did not get very far. We can make sure there are not any suprises in the places we have been before moving deeper into the tunnels."

Rhegaer nods, "That sounds like a good plan to me, as well."

He takes the left turn.

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

The party follows the known path to the left... Squishy has his nose to the ground snuffing around. You get to the first intersection

DM breaks out some dice...
mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6]
mgt's roll comes to 10 [10 on 1d20]
mgt's roll comes to 4 [2 2 on 2d5]

Squishy goes left into the first cavern you had a battle in. Nothing dangerous occurs but the dead goblins area gone. So you turn and head deeper into the caves. At the next intersection Squishy wants to go right... The distinct smell of roasting meats comes from that direction.

"Lets see what is to the right, then we can come back to this corridor and head deeper into the caves."
