Rhegaer, not the brightest in the group, eyes the dwarf quizzically. "What does wolf poop and silver lines mean?"

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

ooc: I'll remind the others that Urist was not in town when the old story teller told you all about the fall Tor-Xonor. http://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic ... 049#p14049 , if it is not obvious this is one of the Scions that fell that day so long ago.

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

ooc: I will assume Urist does not know that legend, not being present for its telling... but does he recognize the fortress as the work of dwarfish hands? He'd want to take a closer look at the walls and foundations.

"I think this is one of the Dragons that fell in the battle for Tor-Xonor. Let us give it a wide berth. Perhaps we should investigate that cave?" Alrik points to the cave with the nearby tracks.

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

At Alrik's suggestion the group makes their way towards the cave opening on their left. (Westward).... The entrance seems to be very well used. You see all sorts of animal tracks and humanoid tracks coming and going and Urist smells the distinct smell of underground water....

But ever cautious the party waits to see if any obvious signs of danger exist?

After a good 10 minutes wait you move into the cave mouth, the passage slopes gently down into earth, the smell of water is strong and faintly you can hear the dripping sounds...

Keep going?

Alrik motions for Rik to join them.

"Rik, be a good fellow and fetch some torches and tinderbox. Will you be joining us this day?"

If Rik does not want to brave the depths, Alrik will hand a torch to Phadian, then stow the oil, torches and lantern in his pack and proceed forward with the others.

"I really must be hiring a man-at-arms when we return to civilization," Alrik mumbles to no one in particular.

ooc: At this point Rik, Shoul and Coln are back at camp with Aurora and Mule. It's about a mile away.

Re: 07 - Exploring Tor-Xonor

ooc: thanks, I did not realize we were so far from them.

Alrik will suggest heading back to inform the others what they have found before entering further.
