Round 1:

Actions: The party scrambles to defend against this chilling threat. Alrik tosses oil at the foremost creature and calls for Rik to ignite it. Rhegaer rushes into melee, Coln reads his crossbow and Urist looks for a shot with his sling. Meanwhile Phadian releases that he may have power of these creatures and presents himself as barrier of light, invoking the power of Torgrin.

Initative:
mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d6]
mgt's roll comes to 4 [5 on 1d6 -1]


Rik throws his torch and flames suddenly spring forth, the shadows pause long enough for the party to get their actions before the melee is joined.

Coln and Urist each get 1 shot before it is not possible to shoot anymore.
mgt's roll comes to 16 [16 on 1d20]
mgt's roll comes to 8 [8 on 1d20]


Both missiles pass harmlessly through the strange creatures.

Rhegaer engages the nearest Shadow Serpent
mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d20] - Misses

Phadian puts for his holy power.....
mgt's roll comes to 10 [4 6 on 2d6] - Clutch roll the Shadows are turned.

Phadian is suddenly illuminated by a soft white light, and the Shadow Serpents waver and suddenly move away flee back down the corridor..

Phadian shows great joy and excitement

Phadian will slowly follow the "snakes" presenting his holy symbol, careful not to step in the burning oil, to make sure they are properly coaxed out of our caves. He signals Shoul to follow but stay behind.

Phadian successfully banshies the Shadow Serpents from the goblin caves, his last sight of them is that they fled back towards the Dragon bones before they fade into the darkness of the night.

The rest of the night passes peacefully and the morning sees the final preparation of your raft..... Over to Chapter 8 Sailing the Dark Waters
