The party has a pleasant day for their march back to Alu on the Downs..

mgt's roll comes to 3 [3 on 1d6]

The sunshine keeps away the chance encounters and in the late afternoon you all find yourself on the approach to town. It doesn't take long for word to spread and by the time you come to the Market Square a good sized crowd has gathered...

Reactions, stories, choices?

Alrik prefers the solitude of his newly found books, and will let the others take the limelight. Once settled in a nearby Inn, he'll see what is magical and what isn't and try to deduce what is in the non-clerical books and scrolls he has.

"I like this attention not - it agitates Aurora. Let's get to the market and get all this loot checked out."

"I need some time to study this tome. I feel it is very important to my path and that I will find much that can help our group. I suggest we gather in the market in the morning for breakfast and we can discuss what we have found, figure out how to divide it up, and our next plans."

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer holds up his hands, asking for the crowd to quiet down.

"We've had a long two days; we just want a good meal and rest. Just know that the wizard is dead. His henchmen are either dead or driven off. Go home and sleep easy tonight."

Rhegaer drops his hands and pushes his way through the crowd to the inn, where he will try to get some hot food and secure a room for the night.

She pats her backpack with a grin...

The loud laugh of Bailiff Watner parts the crowd and he greets you all with many "Heho jolly souls!" and "Well done beemish youth!". Other then Hagwen the party seems uninterested in the attention and Bailiff Watner seems to understand, pushing the crowds away and dismissing them.. "Now now good folk give them some room, give them peace. Why they carry some battle wounds so have a care, have a care!"

Bailiff Watner does everything he can to escort you to the Inn where you can get some peace and quiet. "A squad of Kingsmen arrived this morning also to help out with the rebuilding of the Militia. Why don't you see the Sheriff in the morning and let us know if we need to take any further steps to protect this town."
