Having gathered what we think is of value (see Treasure thread)
"Lets head above ground and see how far we can get towards home by nightfall."

ooc: I'm assuming you are going back out along the "goblin road" and trying to reach the edge of the Shadowmoor as quickly as possible... If so I'll post tomorrow the results, if not correct me.

The party takes a short break in the goblins camp. Various items are passed around and inspect, value and properties are discussed but nothing is ascertained for certain other then the count of coins and the size of the gems. The exception is the book written in Droconic, the oddly titled The Evanglations of Ferrin Kep Vol1. Alrik takes a look the text and after a few pages releases that it is a Cleric work of the church of Torgrin the first part deal with the various symbols and covenants of the priests of Torgin. Then the book lays out the rituals which contains logical twists of the mind and invocations of otherworld divinity. Alrik does not understand it but it is clearly a divine spellbook. He passes it to Phadian who's eyes bugle as he starts to read through the first pages......

Meanwhile the party backs up Mule and eventually makes for the goblin road with the hope of emerging from the Shadowmoor as quickly as possible.

mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d6]

The hours pass and you make the edge of the Shadowmoor without an encounter, far off you hear the croaking of a Vroat, thankfully far off. You push on as far as possible before setting camp for the night.....

Any other actions? Dawn will come before you know it and another days walk....

Phadian

Phadian seems quite excited as he looks through the book, seeing the group is ready to move on he carefully stows it in his backpack with a thoughtful sigh.

Once we camp Phadian will look at the book a bit more before laying down to sleep. To the group "At this pace we should be back in town tomorrow."

Urist swings his hammer at invisible goblins. He's been chained up for days, so it just feels good just to be moving around. "I'll take the first watch. I'm wired!"
