Hagwen approaches the door carefully and scrutinizes it.....

mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6]

Something is not right she is sure of it. She notices flint strips in floor and door looks a little low near that area.

Indicating the flint strips: "That settles it; this 'ere stinks worse'n a kobold's khazi. I sez we back up, try the South road an' leave this door well alone."

Rhegaer turns around and takes the lead this time, so the party doesn't have to try and shift everyone. When they get to the "T" intersection, he will continue south.

Leery of the door the party reverses direction and heads back to the "T", from there they march south....

10,20,30,40,50,60 feet South the corridor turns West.

10,20,30,40,50,60 feet West the corridor turns North.

10,20,30,40 feet North the Corridor turns West and ends in an open door 10 West.

From the Dim light you can see a debris filled room where several corpses still lie and the stench of rotten flesh, decay and death fill the air.

What species are the bodies? Is it possible to see what killed them from where he is standing? Are they all bunched together or spread out as if they were in a fight?

Rhegaer steps up to the doorway and looks around... He sees a few goblin bodies and a few humans. They look as if they were dragged and dumped.

As long as it doesn't look like they were all killed in this spot due to some magical ward or a massive trap, Rhegaer covers his nose and steps into the room, avoiding stepping on bodies when possible. He quickly takes in the details of the room, then gives the bodies a cursory look for anything of value or interest, moving things aside with the point of his spear when necessary.

"Looks like a dumping ground... hate to think what they were going to do with these bodies, though."

Alrik will help Rhegaer examine the bodies and room.

"Perhaps the mage was using these corpses in his undead experiments."

Rhegaer and Alrik quickly determine that there is nothing of value on the remaining bodies and that indeed there are signs that the area is well disturbed, with an obvious trail leading out of the room quiet recently... In fact is "is that fresh blood" ..... Rik the porter is sickened by the smell are retreats down the corridor a bit.

"Huh. Looks like summat's still on the move down 'ere as shouldn't be."

She moves to follow the blood trail.

"Let's go find out wot, eh?"
