OOC: I am going to assume a few of you help agwen bind the goblins......

Rhegear walks off leaving Hagwen to deal with the goblins. After some uncertain looks Phadian rummages up enough material to crudely secure the Goblins. It won't hold forever but they are secured for now. During the binding and rummaging process you turn up a total of 36gp from the goblins.

Phadian, Hagwen and Coln secure the Goblins, meanwhile Alrik take a closer look at ruins..... After a few moments he realizes that the tumble of stones just to the left of the biggest hut is actually a staircase going down..... While that is going on Rhegear moves from Hut to Hut, you all hear things being tossed about, each time he comes out with a grim look on his face.

Rhegaer the Red

"Found some coin - about 60 silver (64, to be exact) - and an old useable lantern with some oil still in it, but that's about it." He makes sure everyone knows he is sticking the sack of coins in his pack for safe keeping.

OOC: can divide coin up as we acquire it or later on, doesn't matter to me.

Phadian

OOC - Actually I have 50' of rope on my mule
doctorx wrote:Hagwen"'Old 'ard," growls The Hag, pressing a restraining (and powerful) hand against Rhegaer's chest as she glowers at the slumbering goblins; "I wont a word wiv these charmers: Tie 'em up."
Phadian gets rope from his mule to ties up two of them. To Hagwen, "Do what you must do. This lot is certainly part of the raiding band and we must find out their plans. Perhaps I will go tend to the mule, while you errr... talk to them."

Alrik

"I can speak to these creatures in their native tongue, let's see what they can tell us," Alrik says to Phadian and Hagwen.

Alrik will ask one of the goblins to point out their leader, and if he is present, ask the leader what the goblin's plans are.

Alrik seems to speak goblin rather well and he carries out a quick conversation with the captives. They all give the same response which is

"Ragtoe is down below, Illmir let him have a fancy room safe in the earth. Not'us wes get burning light and biting bugs. You go killem, you Wizar like Illmir, let us go."

Rhegaer the Red

After Alrik translates the goblins' words, Rhegaer frowns, "Wonder how you get down there... Where ever 'there' is. Didn't see nothin in any of the huts..."

Thinking for a moment, Rhegaer goes back into the hut where he found the lamp and examines the room more closely, looking for signs of a trap door or hidden stairs or ladder.

OOC: There is a ruined staircase going down just to the left of that Hut. You might have missed in the description. But both Alrik and Hagwen have spotted it.

Alrik

"Ah! It would seem we are headed into the depths!"

Alrik points out the staircase to Rhegaer and the others.

OOC: Ah, yep, missed that. Sorry.

The party follows Alrik's gesture towards the ruined stone staircase. Clearly it is very old, but just as clearly someone has been using it recently. Much of the overgrowth has been hacked away, and the debris has been pushed to one side. For the observant there are clear prints of goblin, worg, human and something larger tracked across the earthy threshold.

With only a glance you can all see it descends more then 20 feet into the darkness below.

What now?
