Hagwen

Hagwen sets an arrow to her bowstring.

"Lets go."

She'll take point.

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer follows shortly behind, and reminds everyone, "At the first intersection, we've still not seen what is down the path to the right..."

ooc: Spellbooks and Scrolls are written in "normal" languages, if you happen to be literate in that language you do not need any further spells to understand them. If you can not read them then a comprehend languages would allow you to read during the duration of the spell and or copy it (paying hte Ink fee) to your spellbook or another scroll. A read magic would make it so that you read the scroll and use it at any point in the future. So read magic beats comprehend languages for scrolls & spellbooks.

Alrik looks the 2 scrolls over carefully. The writing is in a language he does not understand. He does recognize it as the same language that the crumbled not is in.

Phadian

"I think this time Rik and Mule should come with us. The purpose this time is to see what things of value are down there and Mule can carry much more than any of us. Also I am not sure we can rely on the goblins staying scared and I would prefer they were with us."

Phadian

Perhaps Rik could hold the lantern now and be just in front of me. I could lead Mule and be at the back (so we have someone armored in back).

"I agree with Phadian, after all it's unlikely that there is very much else nasty down there - and the more hands, or er... hooves to carry the loot, the better!
"Role, not roll. People who can't accept that in D&D prove that, irl, they can't accept actually THINKING their way to a reward - they want everything to be fast and perfect. That's why real men play OD&D :p" -Me

Re: 04 - Ruin in the Moor

Hagwen takes point and the rest follow with Rik and the Mule in the procession this time around. The corridors are no less ominous the second time around, which the clip-clop of Mule adding to the echoing din. The party comes to the first intersection quickly and Rhegaer point out the right hand turn as unexplored.

Which way?

Hagwen

"Right it is..."

Hagwen turns right, proceeding cautiously, checking walls, floor and ceiling for any sign of traps or similar mischief...
