(Ducks curses, thrown rule-books etc. to shelter in a quiet corner and come up with a concept for this superman/elf/hobbit whatever...) :)
You can't duck my new laser-guided rule book!

Interested to see what kind of character you come up with tho, the problem with good well-rounded stats is that it lets you basically make whatever kind of character you want (since you're good at everything). Sometimes you might not want that much freedom - or else indecisiveness settles in :P

Truth.

Sometimes it is fun to have some bad stats to help you figure out the character's personality.

But, seriously, doctorx has no need of such help. His Hinterlands character is awesomely done.

I added the House Rule to clarify Hit Points.. We are using the Empire of the Petal Throne method.

I also see the Coln went for a hunting dog. Aurora has had loyalty rolled and noted, and hit points rolled. Hp: 4 Hd: 1 Ac: 7 Mv: 15

Aww, cheers ehiker! :D

But you guys are right: it can be tricky coming up with something interesting when you've been given such an embarrassment of riches to play with - not that I'm complaining, mind! :)

So I think the sting in the tail with this kind of character needs to lie in the fact that they are special - and that things are expected and demanded of them as a result. This can cause them problems...

I think I have the vague beginnings of an idea but I want to think about it a bit more. I'll try and get something up soon as possible. Please bear with me! :)

merias your rolls are ready

Stat [1]: 14 [ 5 6 1 3 ]
Stat [2]: 14 [ 1 2 6 6 ]
Stat [3]: 8 [ 1 2 5 1 ]
Stat [4]: 10 [ 2 1 5 3 ]
Stat [5]: 13 [ 3 2 5 5 ]
Stat [6]: 16 [ 6 2 6 4 ]

Gold: 10 [1 4 5 on 3d6] -> 100gp

Looks over the info posted thus far, use the Delving Deeper v3 rules to complete your character. Ask questions if you need help. I'm hoping to get this rolling by next week.

Some questions:

- On the sample sheet, the INT/WIS comments imply MUs and clerics get spell bonuses? Or do we stick with only one memorized spell at first level for MUs?
- You mention extra languages for INT or WIS being gained in play - for now, do we just list the common and alignment languages?

Ignore the bonus spell note, I lifted the sheet formatting from WaysoftheEarth's Hinterlands game. But I didn't clean them up :). My bad.

Languages I have set max 6 starting languages but you are free to choose from the list in the House Rules. That way the int/wis blessed folks have something to gain along the way.

If you go human (which you did), you can take any one dice roll for a stat and make it a "6" and you didn't do that.

So, for example, you could take this stat...

... and turn it into a 17 by replacing the 1 or the 3 with a 6.

I don't know if Mike has the "You can't make it an 18" rule or not. If he doesn't, then you could bump Stat [2] up to 18 that way.

Either way, I'd highly recommend doing that.

Ehiker133 is correct.. I have no such rule. This was a bonus to the humans! You'll notice that a lot of the house rules are giving everyone just a little bump towards survivability. OD&D is deadly so I feel no qualms about handing them out. :)

PS - The first of the Magic-Users, yay! Color Spray should be fun! 18 Int, the goat herders have no idea what you are saying but it must be right.
