I have a fair bit of gold left over from my starting sum, I was thinking of some hirelings - a porter/torch-bearer and maybe a mercenary. Can we assume at least the former is available for us in Alu on the Downs?

If you go human (which you did), you can take any one dice roll for a stat and make it a "6" and you didn't do that. I don't know if Mike has the "You can't make it an 18" rule or not. If he doesn't, then you could bump Stat [2] up to 18 that way. Either way, I'd highly recommen...
