I've been misinterpreting the layout! I thought we were already in the sand room, and the bedroom was beyond it to the west, but now I think I see. Is this map roughly correct? #33 is the bedroom, #34 is the sand room. To the north is the elevator room, etc. It looks like the position of the door is...

Willie grits his teeth, and sets to work, setting down Lantern III on the ground beside him and taking up his shield. Hopefully he has time to do this while other hobbets are launching missiles, and will be ready for melee when the undead close in.
