You spend about half an hour sifting through everything. You separate the mixed up gold and silver - there is about 5000 gold and 10 000 silver. You also find seven gems of varied colours, and seven gold pendants. Beside the dead body you see a well-preserved spear whose spearhead glows a faint silver

It looks like a small circular room with a treasure hoard. There does not seem to be a monster guarding it. He descends the ladder. Will he go back up alone, or will others follow?

Maloof doesn't currently carry a light source. Can gnomes see in the dark? If he can't see anything after lifting the trapdoor he'll climb back down the ladder and send up one of the wereboars with a lantern, explaining that he has disarmed the trap. Bjork decides to climb up and see. There is a trapdoor, which he pushes open. There is a whirr, a thud as the trap door falls back into place, and Bjork's headless body falls down the chute and at your feet!

The passage leads a total of 40' north, then ends. There is an iron ladder leading up, similar to the place where you first descended

There are rungs. The party can climb down on the rungs like the werebears did. And you can always tie a rope to a rung
